As well as offering face to face counselling for children, teens, individual adults, couples and families, Sara Dimerman provides telephone counselling and consultation. If you are not able to attend in office sessions, this may be an appropriate option. If you live in the province of Ontario, these sessions would be covered by your extended health insurance plan. There will be no long distance fees for residents of North America and Skype is available for residents of other countries. If you would like to receive more information, please contact Sara.

The Parent Education Resource Centre (PERC) was founded in 1990 by Director, Sara Dimerman. It operates out of Thornhill Square in Thornhill, Ontario.

The Parent Education Resource Centre offers counselling and other psychological services all under one roof.

Registered Clinical Psychologists and Social Workers work one on one with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families who are experiencing various emotional, psychological and/or behavioural difficulties.

In counselling, most therapists help individuals, couples and families with a wide range of issues. Some of the more specialized areas that some of the therapists have experience in include:

Clinical Psychologists conduct standardized assessments for children, adolescents and adults for intellectual strengths and weaknesses, attention deficit and emotional difficulties. These assessments can remain confidential or in regards to students, be shared with school personnel to determine placement in exceptional programs.
